Staff member Vicky Love has recently completed the Three Peaks Challenge, raising £500 for Glasshouse College.
The Three Peaks Challenge is an outdoor event where participants aim to climb the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa) within 24 hours. It tests endurance, teamwork, and determination as participants hike the peaks and travel between them.
Vicky said: “Even though it was incredibly challenging and the weather wasn’t always on our side, we managed to reach the summit of the third mountain within the 24-hour deadline, with just a few minutes to spare. This journey taught me a lot about my own resilience, determination, and ability to keep going when things got tough. It wasn’t easy, but crossing that finish line made every step worth it. It was an unforgettable experience with friends, and a reminder that we’re often capable of far more than we think.”
Vicky’s success is a great example of how dedication and perseverance can turn an ambitious challenge into an impressive accomplishment.
The funds Vicky has raised will support student council activities at Glasshouse College.
Well done, Vicky, on this fantastic achievement, and thank you for your kind gesture.
