Freeman College has a fantastic curriculum that includes Metalwork. Pictured are student’s items created during their Metalwork session throughout their time with us:
The Copper Engraved Goblet is spun and then soldered together in three sections. An electronic hand engraver is then used to create a pattern or design, where it is then finished with a polish.
The Copper Frying Pan is spun with a copper bar forged tang and a wooden handle that was made in Green Woodwork is then added.
The Silver Plated Spun Box is spun copper with a repousse car soldered to the lid, making it appear 3D, before being silver-plated.
