Students at Freeman College had the incredible opportunity to visit Ed’s workshop – a wonderful artisan workshop founded by Ed Rowe, a proud Freeman College alumni, and his parents. The soon-to-be graduates were shown what a career in craft could look like after their time at college and had the opportunity to make tealight holders from wood, completing the process of cutting, sanding and finishing.
Ed’s workshop is a fantastic space where craftspeople with learning difficulties can develop their skills and pursue their own career paths in artisan craft and design.
Ed’s Workshop is a shining example of how creativity, ambition, and the right support can lead to meaningful and fulfilling careers. A truly inspiring visit for our students!
