All events take place in the Ruskin Mill Gallery in Nailsworth unless otherwise specified.

How to book

No payment is taken on the phone, just cash or cheque on the door. Concessions are £5 for those aged 25 and under, or disabled. Events are free of charge for accompanying carers and personal assistants. All events at Ruskin Mill are wheelchair accessible, do contact us if you have any specific requirements.

Parking

Parking at Ruskin Mill is for disabled visitors. For evening and weekend events please use the events car park at Brookdale, just before Ruskin Mill on the left as you come from Nailsworth. More parking is available at Horsley Mill, located 400m after Ruskin Mill, a five minute walk back along the lit lakeside path.

The Inbetween – Rose Maher

Tuesday 30 May – Sunday 25 June

Rose Maher’s paintings explore perceptions of reality, of dreams and what lies inbetween. They create spaces and states which offer the viewer opportunities to find new ways of sensing both inner and outer landscapes so that a new awareness can unfold. The paintings often start with an emotion, and an urge to connect in a non-linear way. They are an attempt to examine deeper parts of the unconscious while surveying the untapped narratives and pathways in our lives.

Ruskin Mill College End of Year Exhibition

Saturday 8 July – Sunday 10 September

The summer exhibition represents and celebrates every student who has attended Ruskin Mill College in the previous academic year. During their time at college, each student follows a personalised curriculum based on Ruskin Mill Trust’s unique method, Practical Skills Therapeutic Education. Their student journey offers a wealth of opportunities, reflected in the rich displays of craft, art and culture offered here.

Community Volunteer Saturdays

17 June, 15 July 9.30am – 1pm

Come and join us in enhancing and maintaining our beautiful landscape, and afterwards enjoy a complimentary lunch in the café.
