About the Service

Clervaux Rise works with participants to create a bespoke package combining personal development, training and work-based learning that meets each individuals needs.


Clervaux works with both day and residential participants. Our day provision is open 5 days a week from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm for 52 weeks a year*.

* We are closed for two weeks over Christmas and New Year, bank holidays and on occasions may need to close due to winter weather conditions.

Clervaux offers and range of activities, work experience and qualifications to support participants in gaining confidence and becoming skilled.

Qualifications 

Qualifications vary and include vocational qualifications, diplomas and land based Lantra training.

Work Experience

We offer a range of work experience opportunities that are both internal and external to Clervaux. Internally we offer work experience within farm and land management, joinery and work experience within the Clervaux Farm Shop, providing opportunities for retail and customer service experiences. Externally we support participants to find and engage with a range of work experience and volunteering opportunities.

We work closely with the local community and council in order to identify and engage with opportunities to be part of the wider community.

Independent Living Skills

We work with participants to identify and support independent living skills, which are embedded within the timetables, these will include, as an example:

  • Independent travel
  • Budgeting, shopping and cooking
  • Health and Hygiene

Each participant attending has a bespoke personal development plan created for them to show progression and development and enable them to gain new skills and be successful within the community.

It is our strong belief that each individual needs the opportunity to engage in meaningful work and to see the result of their efforts formed in the product of service that is wanted and needed by someone else.

Festivals and Cultural Participation

All participants will have the opportunity to take part in the Clervaux Festivals and cultural activities.

Clervaux celebrate a number of festivals that which mark key points in the year and are a time for celebration and reflection. They provide opportunities for joy and social engagement. Festivals are inclusive and diverse, bringing a sense of connectedness to others. Through the festivals, participants are able to develop their self-awareness and participate with the community.

Visits to local shows, farmers markets, and other work placement providers enable participants to meet new people and expand their social experiences.
