Clervaux Rise

Welcome to Clervaux Rise

Clervaux Rise works with adults with learning differences who have completed their formal education, supporting them on the path of becoming more independent, confident, to gain qualifications and contribute to the community.

Clervaux Rise’s approach is one that recognises the positive outcomes that can be achieved for each individual to re-imagine their potential. The focus at Clervaux is on social enterprise activities, which include land work, catering, and working at the Clervaux Farm Shop.

We work with both day and residential participants and our day provision is open 5 days a week Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm for 52 weeks a year.*

*We are closed for two weeks over Christmas and New Year, bank holidays and on occasions may need to close due to winter weather conditions.

Meeting individual needs

Clervaux Rise works with participants to create a bespoke package combining personal development, training and work-based learning that meets each individuals needs.

We offer real world work experience to enable individuals to engage with and contribute to their own development and that of the community.

Clervaux Rise provides a safe and friendly environment, we pride ourselves on being inclusive and person centred. We have well qualified staff with a wide range of skills to offer the opportunities to support people with a range of learning disabilities, who may benefit from working in a therapeutic environment. Our beautiful location lends itself perfectly to this therapeutic role and our participants have the opportunity to engage with and learn new skills, while making friends and contributing to the wider community.

A Clervaux Rise participant listens as a tutor talks him through the operation of a lawnmower on a sunny day in a field. This is part of the LANTRA training that is on offer. Other participants and staff are in the background.

Residential placements

At Clervaux Rise we believe that it is vital that all individuals benefit from a nurturing, therapeutic environment which provides the opportunity to lead healthy lifestyles.

Due to the often-complex nature of a person’s needs, we approach each individual as a whole person. The result is that our residents are able to lead rich and full lives both in their homes and in the surrounding community. We work closely with the individual’s extended support network to ensure that every member of the person’s community, where appropriate, is included in the decision-making process centred on their holistic development.

Our household planning is key to supporting each individual’s safety and development. At Clervaux Rise, our entire team assesses the needs of each person in order to ensure that their home and housemates are compatible to their specific requirements. The result of Clervaux Rise’s holistic support and care programme is that our residents achieve good outcomes on their pathways to supported independence and lead rich and full lives through integrated planning and a warm and caring environment.
