The Trust often engages and offers a range of conferences and festivals, bringing together experts, practioners and community to share and learn.

The International Festival of Glass

The International Festival of Glass is a biennial event which include the prestigious British Glass Biennale exhibition. The 4 day event, based in Stourbridge, West Midlands, includes displays, workshops, performances and family activities, including canal boat rides and craft activities. Ruskin mill trust offers the Glasshouse College site for the Festival and works closely with other organisations in the area to produce a diverse, innovative and exciting festival.

Neurodiversity Festival

Based at the Ruskin mill College site, and connected to the Hay Festival, the Neurodiversity Festival offers the opportunity to explore and celebrate differences. The festival includes panel discussions, craft workshops, opportunities to share experience and challenges, and guest speakers.

Hay Festival

The world famous Hay Festival has invited Ruskin Mill Trust to participate in this annual event, offering craft demonstrations and work shops and sharing the Trust’s method of Practical Skills Therapeutic Education.
