Welcome to Coleg Plas Dwbl

Coleg Plas Dwbl draws inspiration from its beautiful natural surroundings and local textile heritage.

Coleg Plas Dwbl sits on biodynamic farmland at the foot of the Preseli Mountains in the Welsh countryside. The location offers a wealth of natural materials that are used in our curriculum crafts. These include clay for pottery, slate and stone, and wool from the sheep. Coleg Plas Dwbl’s signature craft is textiles.

Green woodwork is another key craft, and students can progress to making a Welsh stick back chair. Our students can participate in pottery, Iron Age forge, basketmaking, jewellery making and performing arts.
