Examination and Assessments at Clervaux Garden School.

Our Practical Skills Therapeutic Educational approach to learning is a unique learning and growing experience. Whilst we encourage our young people to spend time during their day outdoors, in the gardens, with the livestock and taking part in the practical skill sessions, we thread into these, accredited qualifications, depending on where the young person is on their personal journey.

We offer our young people the opportunity to take part in Entry Level Functional Skills, moving on to Level 1 and Level 2.

In addition, we deliver AIM’s qualifications (formally Open College Network), starting from Certificates to Awards to Diplomas.

Young people can then progress on to GCSE’s at Clervaux whilst they continue to share in the many therapeutic experiences we offer.

In order to fulfil JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) and Instructions for Conducting Examinations requirements our young people are given the opportunity so see the documents linked.

Some of the information is relevant to parents/carers, some to staff and some to the young people.

We encourage parents and carers to read through the documents and help prepare their young person for upcoming assessments and exams.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Exam Officer at Clervaux for further advice and guidance.
