Preparing to Leave
The Brantwood curriculum is designed to develop transferable and functional skills at each stage of the student's journey through it.
In this way, individual progress and transition are secured through the acquisition of vocational qualifications and social and independence skills, with each major transition point in the student journey being carefully planned and expertly managed.
Key staff will work with each student, their families and relevant professionals to prepare for these major points of transition and change. At each Transition Review, all key stakeholders, including the student, will be involved in preparing an aspirational and realistic plan of action.
If necessary, we will help students make a seemless transition to a Ruskin Mill Trust provision.
