Masters of Science in Practical Skills Therapeutic Education (Integrated Professional Development)*


 

This MSc is based upon the Ruskin Mill Trust methodology, delivered by Crossfields Institute Hiram Education and Research Department and accredited by the University of the West of England. The fieldwork and instruction for the MSc programme will be conducted at eight supervised placement centres, which are situated within Ruskin Mill Trust and external placements may be considered upon request.

Over the last 25 years, the lives of hundreds of young people have been transformed though this powerful understanding of healthy human development. The value of this approach has been recognised internationally, including the ability to adapt and apply the programme to different areas of work. This MSc programme, inspired by 25 years of research, development and hands-on application, offers you the opportunity to explore and develop a deep understanding of Practical Skills Therapeutic Education and its worldwide application.

This MSc is a professional work-based learning programme taught in small group settings. Work-based learning is defined as educational opportunities that are undertaken in the workplace, through an internship opportunity, or through working practices. The programme offers 180 academic credits at the Master’s level.
